A monthly religious gathering is organized across 33+ different locations in Kerala, including Malappuram, Kozhikode, Palakkad, and surrounding rural communities, to bring together orphaned children and their mothers in a supportive and uplifting environment. These gatherings provide an opportunity for participants to strengthen their spiritual connection, learn moral values, and find emotional comfort through religious talks, Qur’an recitation, and community interaction. For many families, these meetings serve as a source of hope, encouragement, and social belonging.
These gatherings also play an important role in supporting the psychological well-being of orphaned children. Living without a father often creates emotional and social challenges, and these programs help children feel valued, respected, and cared for. Through group activities, motivational sessions, and guidance from religious scholars and community leaders, the children gain confidence, develop positive character, and build a stronger sense of identity and purpose. Mothers also benefit from counseling, advice, and emotional support from others facing similar situations.
As part of the program, a nutritious biryani meal is provided to approximately 2,000 participants, including both orphans and their mothers. This shared meal not only meets nutritional needs but also creates a joyful and welcoming atmosphere where families can come together with dignity. The cost of providing the meal is INR 100+ per person, resulting in a total meal cost of INR 2,00,000. For many families, this meal represents both physical nourishment and a symbol of care and compassion from the community.
In addition to the meal expenses, organizational costs such as venue arrangements, transportation support, educational materials, and coordination amount to INR 1,00,000 per gathering. This brings the total cost of each monthly gathering to INR 3,00,000. These gatherings are a vital part of the trust’s mission to provide not only financial support but also spiritual guidance, emotional strength, and a sense of community for orphaned children and their families across Kerala.
