Designed for larger orphan families, this home provides enough space for children to live, study, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
The project aims to build safe and secure homes for orphan families across various districts in Kerala, including Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Palakkad. Many orphaned children and their mothers currently live in fragile houses made of temporary materials, which are vulnerable to rain, heat, and unsafe living conditions. This housing initiative seeks to provide permanent homes that ensure safety, dignity, and stability, allowing families to live with peace and security.
So far, with the support of generous donors, 30 houses have been successfully completed, Alhamdulillah. These homes have transformed the lives of orphan families by giving them proper shelter, privacy, and a healthy environment. Children who once struggled with difficult living conditions now have a safe place to study, grow, and build their future. These completed homes stand as a symbol of hope and compassion, reflecting the positive impact of community support.
However, 70 orphan families are still waiting for their own homes, and their need remains urgent. Many of these families continue to live in unsafe or overcrowded conditions, which affects their health, education, and emotional well-being. Building these remaining homes as soon as possible is essential to protect vulnerable children and provide them with the stability they deserve. Each new home represents not just a building, but a foundation for a better future.
The cost of constructing one house is INR 12,00,000.00 which covers essential components such as land preparation, construction materials, labor, and basic facilities. This investment ensures that each home is durable, comfortable, and suitable for long-term living. By supporting this project, donors can directly help provide a secure home for an orphan family in Kerala, offering them dignity, protection, and the opportunity to live a stable and hopeful life.
